Eclipsed Sounds December Update - Physical Edition Delays, Contest Judging, Spanish Second Beta, End of Year Availability, & NAMM 2024!

An update on the state of the Spanish implementation beta, as well as SAROS & ASTERIAN's physical edition delay, ASTERIAN's song contest, end of year availability & our appearance at The NAMM Show in 2024!

SAROS & ASTERIAN Physical Distribution Update

We have faced some delays from our manufacturer for parts of SAROS' physical version. While we will ship all orders as soon as we can, please reach out if you ordered ASTERIAN and SAROS' physical editions together and would like them shipped out separately. To avoid any additional wait, we will begin shipping out ASTERIAN-only orders beginning on the 28th.

ASTERIAN Song Contest Judging

We will complete judging for ASTERIAN's song contest in January - due to the holiday season, our availability has been less than anticipated originally with the volume of participation. Please anticipate the results soon!

Spanish Implementation Improvements in Synthesizer V Studio 1.11.0b2

The implementation for Spanish has been improved! The new beta version of Synthesizer V Studio from Dreamtonics includes our latest changes to the words-to-phonemes system, which was the focus of the first wave of updates. Dreamtonics has also helped us to improve the clarity of pronunciation. More updates will continue to be worked on in the future, but we hope these changes have made working with Spanish within Synthesizer V Studio simpler. Thank you for all of your feedback! Changes to the phonemes themselves suggested by users & determined by our testing will be made in a future update in the new year, so please feel free to continue to submit Spanish language feedback, as we have been compiling it for our reference.

In this new beta version, multiple voice databases have been updated to support the beta implementation of Spanish, so feedback on the implementation can now be provided by users of vocals from multiple parties as we work on the improvements to the phoneme system. The new versions for our vocals are as follows:

The next improvement will include additional phoneme changes to provide more user control.

Year Transition Teammate Availability

With the holiday season coming up at the end of the month for our team, our availability will be limited for customer support and product discussions over the following days:

Thank you for your understanding on this availability limitation for this time. In the new year, our teammates will be gradually transitioning to a full-time schedule, so please expect increased availability from February onwards.

Website Updates

We have been rapidly outgrowing our current website service provider. In the new year before NAMM, we will be transitioning our site to a new platform with a new design to go along with the change. This may require some downtime for our store, so please expect a notice about the transition when it is closer to completion.

Eclipsed Sounds will be attending the 2024 NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA! Be sure to visit us at booth 11608 to talk about Synthesizer V Studio or pick up freebies & discount codes! This will be our second year at the Show, so we will have a larger booth presence with more staff, so please feel free to stop by with any questions or just to have a chat!
